Our Customer's Report
AMD--Richard Kerns---"We had an
exceptionally large quantity of excess office furnishings in our
Santa Clara facility due to personal reduction, and it was
necessary to clear the building within 20 days after contacting
2nd Avenue Interiors. They managed to accomplish this feat
with expert precision as well as insuring that we were fairly
compensated for the furnishings and made it look easy.
Great Job."
Exponent
--Guy Degarmo---"We have utilized
2nd Avenue Interiors over the years to assist us in expansions.
They have the ability to come through in a pinch and never
disappoint us. This the major reason we continue to call
them. We are pleased with the quality and condition of the
used furnishings they provide and are exceptionally pleased with
their service."
E-Trade--Ray
Wilson---"Faced with an immediate need to dispose of a 750,000
square foot building full of furniture and with only 45 days
before we had to be out of the building, we found 2nd Avenue
Interiors on the internet and contacted them as they were in
California. We levied this insurmountable project onto
their shoulders and surprisingly enough they came through
without a hitch. We sold the majority of the furnishings,
recycled a large portion of the remainder, and disposed of the
balance between non-profits and the land fill. 2nd Avenue
Interiors handled the entire project, meeting the deadline and
making us enough money to cover the move of over 500 people.
Excellent Professionals."
Thelen Reid & Priest LLP--Lauren
O. Phillips---"We were very happy with the entire process of
disposing of our excess furnishings which resulted from our move
to a larger space filled with new furniture. Bj Hicks' time,
attention, creativity and patience shown throughout the project
made the experience very pleasant. He was very conscientious
about communicating with me, which greatly alleviated my
anxiety. He was extremely fair in what he paid us for the
furniture (much more than previous proposals), and he personally
supervised the removal of all items in a timely fashion and with
no damage to the suite. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Should a similar situation arise I would most certainly call 2nd
Avenue again, and should someone I know have need for a service
such as yours, I will highly recommend you."
Matson Navigation Company--Bobby Whitlock---"We utilized 2nd Avenue
Interiors to liquidate the furnishings from our five floor
office in San Francisco office when we moved our operation to
Oakland. It was a very difficult removal, after hours,
elevator rental, etc, yet Mr. Hicks insured that he supervisors
were on the job the entire time, and the project was completed
on time. They took the extra step to clean the suites
before we walked them, and it looked like we had never been
there. I highly recommend them if the project is large."
Mitsubishi Electric and
Electronics, USA--Bruce
Brenizer---"We contacted 2nd Avenue from it's website and could
not have found a better associate. We moved our operation
from San Jose leaving a 200,000 square foot building full of
furniture and only fifteen days to get it removed. Mr.
Hicks and his team were extremely professional and accomplished
the project on time without a problem. Great company and
liquidators in every sense of the word. I would use again
if needed."
IndyMac Bank--John Madigan---"I called upon Mr. Hicks and 2nd Avenue Interiors
for two projects in late 2006 which were extremely short on
time, and they did the normal job and accomplished the
impossible making it look easy. Definitely my go to
company when I need quick action in the liquidation of furniture
due to moves, reductions or closing of offices.
Professional in every sense of the word."
BLUE SHIELD -
Scott Anderson -
We had a major project encompassing the closure of a
telemarketing campus in Northern California and we contacted Bj
Hicks of 2nd Avenue Interiors. Mr. Hicks walked
the buildings, making himself familiar with the removal of each
and everyone, and submitted a proposal to Blue Shield.
After going through several proposals 2nd Avenue
Interiors stood out as clear, concise, but not the lowest
bid, but was the most comprehensive and complete bid we
received, and it instilled a confidence in Mr. Hicks that we did
not feel with the other bidders. Project was started,
progressed and completed on time in each building and surpassed
our expectations.
We will definitely utilize 2nd
Avenue Interiors again for our disposition of assets.
